Welcome to the first tea and talk for 2025. This year our talks will focus on settlements in Guyana. Stabroek was the previous name of our capital city, Georgetown. This talk will draw on several historical accounts by visitors to the settlement to give an impression of what it was like, who the inhabitants were and what features have endured across the centuries.
