Professor Ken Danns diagnosed the people of Guyana as suffering from a ‘paradox of identity‘. These readings traced the formation of our identity, as charted by Professor Danns, along with other views to illustrate or qualify his analysis. The readings were led by Isabelle de Caires and Kojo Mc Pherson. There was an extended and animated discussion after the readings.
