As part of our series about the nascent petroleum industry in Guyana, Moray House Trust hosted a panel presentation and discussion with Srdan Deric (UN Advisor for Peace and Development), Charles Ramson (Attorney) and Professor Clive Thomas (economist) on Thursday 14th June. Nadia Sagar was the moderator.
Over the last 15 months, the series has included contributions from economists (Collin Constantine, Professor Tarron Khemraj, Professor Jay Mandle), petroleum engineers (Dr Vincent Adams, Dr Jan Mangal), attorneys (Melinda Janki, Christopher Ram), the environmentalist Annette Arjoon-Martins and the former Auditor-General Anand Goolsarran among others. The Trust is hosting this series as an expression of our philosophy that “a culture thrives and develops where ideas circulate and robustly debated and interrogated.”
