Moray House Trust was honoured to host a conversation between Stanley Greaves and Rupert Roopnaraine. Greaves, at 80, still one of Guyana’s most prolific and versatile artists, recently launched an exhibition at Castellani House, “Dialogue with Wilson Harris.’ Rupert Roopnaraine has been an attentive observer of Stanley Greaves’ oeuvre for several decades and has written extensively about it, including the acclaimed study, ‘Primacy of the Eye.’ Stanley’s works of art formed the major topic of the evening’s discussion. As part of its mission to promote local culture, Moray House Trust has held a series of similar events, all moderated by Miles Fitzpatrick, and featuring guests such as Eusi Kwayana, Rahul Bhattacharya and Clive Lloyd.
