On Monday 28th April, Bert Carter gave a well attended talk about ‘Drainage of the City of Georgetown’.
Bert Carter graduated as a Civil engineer in 1967 and returned to Guyana from England in 1969 with a post Graduate Diploma in Highway and Traffic Engineering, and an M. Sc. degree in Transportation and Environmental Planning. He worked with the Mayor and City Council of Georgetown as an Assistant City Engineer until 1973.
